9 JUNE 2008 ; MONDAY

Thank God for the safe trip from Singapore to Sydney & Christchurch. By the time I arrived in Sydney, the rain stopped. but, it was COLD... the plane that i'm suppose to board on was delayed by an hour, cause it kinda landed at the Domestic Terminal instead of the International.

As of the time i landed in Christchurch, it's 11 degrees. super cold. my gdness. plus the cold wind... its even worse. but can be "shiok" at times. lol. okay, just in case some of you don't know what's the season in Christchurch, its WINTER from now till August. so yeah, thank God i arrived on today (9/6). 'cause on 8 June, Christchurch was having snow storm. hurhur. so yay. thank God. haha. ahhh, what else... okay, i officially MISS EVERYONE of you now! *boo* & no, i'm not crying while i'm typing. cos my eyes are too tired ready. :p

Right, so my 2 friends (Sham & Jai) & I waited for our cab to send us to our respective places of stay. Dropped them off at Sonoda and I at Ilam Village. The flat that I'm residing in now, is just a temporary stay 'cause I requested for a "single-gender" flat and it isn't available at the moment as its not the end of the school term yet. oh, the flat that i'm in now... its just another asian girl and myself. haven't got the chance to talk to her tho'.

Unpacked my stuff ('cause i needed to kill time and wait for nightfall). Well, not all of my things, just some. 'cause i'll be shiftg out soon agn. Maybe these few day, next week or so. Erm, that's what the people at the office told me. heh.

Had a packet of biscuits that i brought in from SG. hah. Wasn't feelg that hungry 'cause i was really really tired. So yeah, my dad and bro called me at about 9.15pm (NZ Time. which is, abt 5.15pm SG Time). talked awhile and off to bed. (:

10 JUNE 2008 ; TUESDAY

Woke up at about 10.30am. Freezing cold as usual. My windows were frosted! That's how cold it is. hurhur. Took my bath, had Milo and Biscuits (yes, agn) for breakfast. Went down to the office to look for Liz. She gave me a chunk of information and maps for me to look around. Asked if I'm brave enough to walk around on my own 'cause its not like Singapore. lol. So, I told her that I'll be fine.

And off I went for a walk down to Sonoda where my 2 friends were staying. I turned left instead of turning right. haha! but, narh, I didn't walk that far of at the left. so, turned back and straight down to their place. blah! and guess what?! the receptionist told me that they JUST left their flat when I arrived. ZZZ! Walked out to the main road but cldn't find them ard. btw, they're fast walkers. HAHA. tt explains why. lol. :p So, i headed back to my room. (yes, walked all the way back to my flat frm their place. its abt 20mins walk) Rested for awhile, took my belongings and as I was about to put on my coat and leave for the supermart & the mall near the city area... my friends called. haha. yeah. so we met at 2pm, dropped by Ilam Village Office & said HI to Liz. 'cause she helped us a lot too, while we were in SG. ((: yeah, so we headed off to the supermart near our hostels. its called COUNTDOWN. haha. what a name right? lol. so yeahs, aft tt we walked all e way down to Riccarton Mall. it was like a 45mins walk to and fro! and the people ard told us its abt a 10-15mins walk. *WOOT* are we slow or are they fast? hahaha.

ohwellies... i've gotten my SIMCard! yay! (: its +64210299....... (ask me for the remaing 4digits. haha!)

So, hurried back to our own hostels from Riccarton Mall. guess there was a drop in temperature at about 5pm (NZ Time). 'cause there was vapour or is it "steam" coming out from our mouths. HAH. right, i think steam doesn't sound right. haha. but, anyhoos.. it was THAT cold. *brrr* yeah, put down all my stuff, went to the kitchen to boil water and yay! cup noodles! chicken & corn. pretty nice tho'. ohwells, i was lazy to cook. haha. plus i didn't want to buy so many things. like, i've said before, i'll be moving out agn. so yupp. (:

oh, msged my cuzzy (Tiffany aka Tiff/Tiffy). hah. i'll get tt txt2000 plan soon! hahaha. right, txt2000 means i can send like 2000 txt for NZ$10. guess its 20cents for local txt and 30cents for international txt. so yeah. txted quite a bit. cos she's persuading me to go up to the North to do my degree. haha. silly gerr! i haven't even started my foundation prog. yet! let me finish 1st den i'll decide alright?

okay, so i unpacked the things i bought, washed up and off to bed. :D

11 JUNE 2008 ; WEDNESDAY

woo, fast. its Wednesday already. well anyways went to Riccarton Mall again. applied for my internet access. woot! then Sham, Jai & myself went further down to the city area for our dinner. we were like super hungry.. so we bought 2 burgers, 3 chicken drumsticks with chips. oh, btw. its called chips here instead of fries. so yeah. hahaha. ohh.. as i was saying.. the fooood... was totally nice & filling please! & worth the buy. haha. the weather got colder outside while we were munching on our hot burgers, drumsticks & chips! wheee~ after that... both of them went to view some houses. so i took a 35mins walk back to my hostel. FOOYOH! it was freaking COLD! i walked as fast as i could okay! zzzz... vapour was already coming out from my mouth whenever i breathed out air.. hurhur. but anyhoos, i got back safely. so, thank God. yeah. pretty much for wednesday. (:

12 JUNE 2008 ; THURSDAY

stayed in my room for the entire day. cos i got my internet connection up & YAY! i was happily chatting and typing super fast with my cold n numb fingers.. hahaha. slept pretty early and woke up about 2AM (NZ Time) den slept at abt 8AM (NZ Time). *ahem* someone shld know why. BLEAH. but thanks for making my morning! ((: hurrr. *sings an unknown tune: patrick the starfish is cuter than you......* hahaha. okay okay. i'll stop it. if not patrick will end up on the floor later. lol. you're cuter than patrick ok? TEEHEE! :p

yeah, then woke up at abt 12noon. just nice... sham & jai came over to use my lappy to chk their mails while i go wash up and yeah did my Q.T & all in the living room. then... off we went to school. its HUGE... i can get lost lah.. :S hurhur. but, i think i'll be okay after they giive us a little tour during our orientation week. HAH. ((:

okay. so after we walked little around the campus we stepped into the canteen & bought our dinner. (: finally INDIAN FOOD! hahahahaha. they name it as SPICE TRADERS. so cool ah. lol. ohh! & we saw jackets of our Uni.. shirts and stuff.. was cool! pretty reasonable lo! ;) don't care i'll save up for the jackets! oh, my dear brother i know you want my Uni jacket badly! hahahahaha. admit it! *grins* :p maybe christmas present ok? hehehehe.

yupp. that's about all for tdy. and TGIF! (: 2days to orientation! wheee~ k lahs. i'm tired. haha. night earthlings! ohhh, everyone's askg me to show them my room! blah! its a mess. hahaha. but here! enjoy. LOL! & byeee! (:
