"Eunice is regarded as an exceptional woman among her equals. Her lifestyle revelaed an early foundational training firmly rooted in God, and this endeared her to many who sough her acquaintance."
"From an early age, Eunice learnt the value of keeping a timetable, mapping out her activities and endeavouring to follow them through. She never allowed or embraced distractions, no matter the form they look. She loved God, studied the Bible and promptly obeyed His word. Jesus was the Lord of all she did and as a branch in the Vine, she positively affected many lives and led many others to Christ. She was vibrant, God-fearing, respectful, faithful, diligent, industrious and responsible. At the age of 23 years her life fulfilled the Word of God in Proverbs 22:29, "Do you see a man who excels in his work? He will stand before kings; He will not stand before unknown men."
"Eunice had success all round. Academically, she was a genius. Spiritually, she was a giant gem, physically and materially, she lacked nothing. Her marital life and home were blissful just as the day of heaven upon the earth."
An extract from "Time Alone With God" while doing QT. Isn't it amazing how that Eunice in that passage is? As time passes by each day since I arrived here, I have one constant question for God. That is, how do I manage my time in University & work (in the latter) together as I step into a whole new place, culture and life? Nonetheless, He's always (and will ever be) gracious and knows when is the right time to release His word. Four days before I start proper lessons. This is what I've got. Now I know what I should do & what I need to do during my stay here.
Recalling... Before I left, many asked... Why go all the way there to study? I'd just smile & inside me I know very well, that, there is a reason and purpose of why I am being sent all the way here. so to speak, being alone, in a foreign land is not easy. I don't know what lies in the coming days. But I know when its time for me to return, there would be something that I'll bring back and will never forget, for the rest of my life. (:
